We get a lot of questions on how to rig our swimbaits, here's a quick overview of how we like to rig them. Please note, there is no right or wrong way to do this. All Purpose Rigging
1- Thread line through the nose weight & tie on a #2 treble hook. 2- Skin hook the treble hook into the plastic. 3- The hook may need to be adjusted, depending on your choice of hook, to ensure the bait runs true. Braid was used in this example, but we recommend 12-17lb mono or flourocarbon line for fishing this bait. We have found a #2 short-shank hook works better for weedless applications. Enjoy.
Alternate Rigging
The hook can be place in such a position to offer a higher hook up percentage. A stinger treble can also be added. NOTE: Make sure enough slack is left in the line on stinger placement to get the correct tail action.
